Earlier this week some of McAdam’s team visited the site of the new Lismore Comprehensive School, to inspect the ongoing construction works.
McAdam, acting as Client Architects and PM’s on the design and build project, are working with OHMG Ltd, Isherwood + Ellis, Design ID Consulting, Harvey Group and TB+A to delivery a new £20M post primary school which is due for completion in January 2023 and will accommodate 1,200 pupils from the Lurgan area. The project will consist of a new school building with a wide range of departmental teaching facilities, learning support centre, sports hall and PE facilities, School Meals Accommodation, sports pitches and administration and office spaces.
The existing school will be demolished in March 2023 and a Green Space created on the old school site seeking to promote biodiversity and open up the site to generate views to the adjacent countryside and beyond.
