McAdam's Establishes New Community Partnership Agreement

We are delighted to announce that McAdam have established a partnership agreement with NI’s largest community and civic pride campaign, Live Here Love Here, to support its Small Grants Scheme. Live Here Love Here, are a Northern Ireland based community charity focused on creating positive changes to within our communities. Their guiding principle is that we can all do one small thing to help to make a big difference in our communities.

The Small Grants Scheme aims to financially support community based environmental projects across Northern Ireland to develop and maintain their efforts for creating a cleaner, greener, and safer place to live. The scheme also helps communities to instil civic pride by providing practical support to volunteer projects that enhance and protect the environment and improve the health and wellbeing of community members.

The investment from McAdam, which is both financial and offer of technical support, will initially support 10 community projects across Antrim & Newtownabbey, Belfast, Mid Ulster, Derry City and Strabane council areas covering projects listed below:

• County Antrim Countryside Custodians - County Antrim Countryside Custodians, Ballymena
• The Litter and Wildlife Project at the 78th Belfast - 78th Belfast Scout Group, Belfast
• Together NI Community Garden - Together NI & Willowfield Bowling Club, Belfast
• Ballydreen Alleyway Improvements -Oakland Alleyway Committee, Oakland Avenue, Belfast
• New Allotments - Michael Davitt GAA, Beechmount/Whiterock, Belfast
• Adding Colour to Our Green Space - Creggan Enterprises (CE), Creggan, Derry
• Tonagh PS Outdoor Classroom and Wildflower Area - Tonagh Primary School & Tonagh Community Association, Lisburn
• Pomeroy in Bloom, Polytunnel Patio – Pomeroy Community Projects, Pomeroy
• Keeping the Lagan Beautiful - Belfast Boat Club, Lagan Towpath
• Love Your Neighbourhood - Lower Ormeau Residents Group, Belfast
