news

We are delighted to say that our North West Greenway project is now a double award winning project after picking up the prestigious ICE Northern Ireland Sustainability Award 2024 to sit alongside the CEF Transport Infrastructure Project of the Year award.

The project has delivered 12km greenway from Derry to Muff including the 60m Pennyburn Bridge, linking Derry’s Quayside Trail to Bay Park and also includes 6km greenway infrastructure at Strabane and Lifford.
The North West Greenway Network scheme was delivered by our Civil-Infrastructure team ably supported by our Structures and CDM-C teams.

Thanks also to all our subconsultant teams who worked so well with us to deliver this scheme Sammon, Canavan Associates Ltd., Kevin Harley CEng MIEI, Wallace Whittle, Ivan Humphreys, Jonathan McIlwaine, and to our Client Derry City & Strabane District Council.

Congratulations to the entire team who worked on this wonderful project.
The award was collected by Ken O'Sullivan at last Thursday’s ICE NI Dinner in the Europa. hashtagICEsustainabilityaward
