McAdam are delighted to be involved with Mid Ulster District Council and DAERA in the £1M Tourism Project to refurbish Round Lake Park’s Camping and Recreation site in Fivemiletown. The project includes refurbishment of the existing Lake House visitor building to include improved common spaces, disability shower and toilet facilities and a new Changing Places facility. The project also includes a new outdoor performance space and amphitheatre, improvements to play facilities to create an all-ability play area, new trails around the lake, improvements to camping and caravanning amenities and improvements to vehicle and pedestrian access. McAdam provided Project Management, Architectural, Civil and Structural Engineering and Principal Designers services for the project.
As DAERA Minister Edwin Poots said when opening, the scheme provides “a superb facility for the local community and also for visitors to the area which is well known for its tourism and this will provide a further asset for tourists to come to this beautiful location”.
